A logistics company lost its central file server on Friday evening. Thanks to an existing backup strategy and a fast response, everything was restored by Monday morning — no data loss, no disruption to the supply chain.

Faulty RAID controller in the main server. File shares and inventory management unreachable. No current backup status available.

Remote diagnosis, spare part procurement on Saturday, recovery from the Veeam backup overnight. Client kept informed at every step.

Fully operational. No data loss. Normal working resumed without any disruption to the supply chain. New RAID concept with hot spare implemented.

Starface Cloud system, Snom D385 handsets, desktop and mobile clients, TAPI integration with DATEV. All staff trained in a single day.

Unified extension numbers
Calls answered from the home office, same extension number whether in the office or on the move. Call history visible directly in DATEV.

No damage done.

A GP practice was targeted by a targeted phishing campaign. ESET Endpoint Security raised the alarm and our monitoring responded — before anyone had clicked a single link.

Situation
Targeted phishing emails
Fake emails purportedly from the KV (medical association), requesting login confirmation. Convincingly crafted, tailored to the practice. Three staff members had already opened them.
What we did
Immediate response
Affected accounts locked as a precaution, audit logs reviewed, two-factor authentication activated, email filter rules on the Fortinet tightened.
Result
No damage
No logins, no data exfiltration. The tightened filter rules now automatically block comparable attacks. All staff trained.
